Happy Chinese New Year

February 19, 2015

Happy Chinese New Year! 2015 is the year of the Wooden Ram (or Sheep or Goat).

People born in the year of the Ram are kind, tender and sympathetic, as well as creative. Because of their softer side (Sheep), they are symbolic of peace and harmony. Wood relates to trees which relate to the color green. Wood by its very nature, is the element associated with all living things, the "spring" or life renewal process.

Combined with the evergreen and renewal characteristics of Wood, the Ram's creativity will be unleashed.

The Year of the Ram follows a tumultuous Year of the Horse, and heralds a more calm atmosphere. This year will be the year for contemplating and appreciating what has already been accomplished, to think about bringing goodness to others, to take a deep breath and calmly look at what's ahead.

The Creativity Blog

A place for me to share my random ideas and thoughts as they drift through my mind.  Since I'm Carolina born and bred, I may tend to focus on more local interests, especially my favorite sports teams.  Hopefully I'll have enough interesting pieces to keep this small corner of the web enjoyable enough.
